01. Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe (from Zurich)

Enjoy the incredible world of eternal snow and ice. Visit the Ice Palace, experience the breathtaking panorama view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace overlooking the Aletsch Glacier (Europe's longest glacier) and the snow-capped peaks of the neighboring countries. The down hill mountain trip takes us to Grindelwald where our coach awaits us. Arrival in Zurich at approximately 8:00pm.

02. Mount Titlis Day Tour from Zurich

Travel over Albis Pass along the shores of the Lake of Four Cantons before arriving in the quaint town of Lucerne. Stretch your legs and see the major sites as your English speaking guide takes you on a brief city tour. Afterwards, enjoy approximately one hour of free time where you can choose to take a closer look at the Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, Town Hall, or the new Concert and Congress Hall.

Your coach tour continues to the mountain resort town of Engelberg where the breath taking journey skywards begins. Board Rotair, the rotating cable car for panoramic views of alpine glaciers and ice boulders as you ascend 10,000 feet (3020 meters).

03. Chamonix and Mont Blanc

Your mountain excursion begins with an unforgettable 90-minute drive through the picturesque Arve Valley from Geneva to Chamonix, at the foot of majestic Mont-Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps and Western Europe (15,770 feet/4,800 meters).

Continuing to Aiguille du Midi, a rocky peak close to Mont Blanc with snow year-round, you'll reach the summit in just 20 minutes by a two-stage cable car. The panoramic views of the Chamonix Valley and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps are spectacular! In the direction of the Swiss Alps, on a clear day it's also possible to see the Mattherhorn, Toblerone chocolate's famous trademark mountain. There are many terraces and balconies up at the Aiguille du Midi where you can enjoy views of the magnificent mountain ranges and watch skiers zooming down towards the glacier. There's also a cafe at the summit where you can have a hot chocolate and perhaps enjoy a light snack (at own expense).

After lunch in the village of Chamonix (included in the tour price), you'll take the comfortable electric railway to Montenvers, a vantage point with fine views of the Mer de Glace. This magnificent glacier is four miles (seven kilometers) long and averages just under a mile wide. You'll be riding the charming little red train that has been transferring passengers to the Montenvers site and the world-famous Mer de Glace glacier since 1908. Surrounded by the impressive summits of Les Drus, Les Grandes Jorasses and Les Grands Charmoz, the Montenvers site is the perfect place to learn about the largest French glacier and about nature in the Alps.

04. Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Day Trip from Lucerne

First off, a scenic coach tour takes you to the magnificent mountain world of the Bernese Oberland. In Lauterbrunnen, you'll board the cogwheel train for a unique mountain train trip via Kleine Scheidegg at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face to Jungfraujoch - Europe's highest railway station.

You can visit the Ice Palace, experience the breathtaking panoramic view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace overlooking the Aletsch Glacier (Europe's longest glacier) and see the snow-capped peaks of neighboring countries.

At the end of your day in the Alps, the down-hill mountain trip takes you to Grindelwald, where your coach awaits to ferry you back to Lucerne.

05. Mount Pilatus Summer Day Trip from Zurich

Travel by coach over Albis Pass and along the Lake of the Four Cantons until arriving in Lucerne. Disembark for a highlight tour, including sightings of the Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge and Jesuit Church. Afterwards take approximately one hour at your leisure to stroll the car-free Old Town.

There's an optional Toboggan ride down Switzerland's longest run at Frakmuntegg. (4500 feet / 1.4km) if you dare! You'll then continue to Kriens and board a panoramic gondola and aerial cable car to the top of Mount Pilates. At 7000 feet (2132 meters), it was considered the forbidden mountain during the middle ages. Enjoy an hour and a half at your leisure admiring breathtaking views over surrounding mountains and lakes. Venture down the Dragon's Path and make the short hike to the summit before descending Mount Pilatus to Alpnachstad by Cogwheel railway. At a gradient of 48% it s the world's steepest!

Your summer alpine adventures conclude with a picturesque boat ride across lovely Lake Lucerne.

This tour operates between May and October, however If you are traveling in late October,  the aerial cable car could be canceled due to poor or unsafe weather conditions. If this is the case, you will travel up and down Mt. Pilatus by cogwheel train. If traveling when boat is no longer in operation (approximately October 19),  you will return to Lucerne by train.

06. Heidiland and Liechtenstein Tour from Zurich: Two Countries in One Day

After first doing a city tour of Zurich we follow Lake Zurich to Rapperswil, the city of roses. We visit the picturesque Old Town and its medieval castle; you will also have some time at leisure here. Then after crossing the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we reach the lovely Toggenberg region whose pretty hill and valley scenery is perfect chocolate box material!

In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein you will have more time at leisure. A visit to the Post Office is recommended; the famous stamps from this tiny state are coveted worldwide by philatelists and amateur stamp lovers alike. And finally we arrive at Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories. In the summer months we can visit Heidi's village. A pleasant short walk leads to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional.

A beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings to a close this most nostalgic of Swiss tours.

07. Zurich Afternoon City Tour

Your tour continues to Adiswil for a cable car ride to Felsenegg (2600 ft / 800 m). At the landing platform enjoy spectacular views over small towns on Lake Z?rich and the white tipped peaks of the Alps. After your return cable car back down, head for the lake and appreciate the sites of Z?rich by ferry. Today's tour concludes with a bus ride along Zurich's Golden Coast.

08. Mount Titlis Eternal Snow Half-Day Trip from Lucerne

Find yourself on top of the world at the top of Mt.Titlis, at 10,000 feet (3,020 meters). With approximately 90 minutes here, you can choose to dine at a choice of several restaurants, relax on the sun terrace or visit the Ice Grotto. Take the IceFlyer to the FunLift for close-up crevass views or hit the slopes for some sledging. Whatever you choose to do, you'll enjoy basking in the magnificent Alpine scenery.

10. Geneva City Tour, Boat Cruise and Countryside

Following the bus tour, get a taste of Geneva's history with the Tramway Tour on Geneva's Mini-Train before you dig even deeper into the Old Town with your guide on a walking tour.

Next you can continue on a one hour commented cruise around the Geneva Lake on the 'Cruise of the Mermaid'. Drinks will be offered on board.

11. Gruyeres and the famous Golden Express (from Geneva)

We will first visit the chocolate factory of Broc (Nestl? - Cailler) where you can taste his famous chocolate. Will then continue our gastronomic discovery in a cheese-dairy where you will sample some local manufactured cheese.

Then you will have some free time in the village of Gruyeres to relax or visit his castle overhanging the entire Gruyere region. Next we will catch the Panoramic Golden Express, this train passes above the Lake Leman and permits to enjoy the panoramic view on the beautiful countryside around the lake.

After that, we will take the bus again to cover the Lavaux vineyards road, classified like one of the most beautiful place of this world by the Unesco, to reach the village of Epaisse.

12. Switzerland Mountains and Chocolates Tour from Zurich

You'll pass the medieval castle in Rapperswil before this morning's first stop in Stein. Disembark at the cheese factory, where the famous wheel-shaped Appenzeller cheese is made.

In the small town of Appenzell, you're guide will accompany you on a brief walking tour past narrow pedestrian lanes and painted houses before driving to Brulisau. Board the aerial cable car to the panoramic Mt. Hoher Kasten. At 1800 meters, it offers breathtaking views over the Rhine Valley and Austria's Voralberg.

On returning to Appenzell, you have an hour to explore the quaint town on your own. Take a closer look at Swiss traditions housed within the Appenzeller Musuem or opt to shop and a stroll in the heart of town instead.

Before returning to Zurich by coach, let the art of chocolate making seduce you at the Chocolate Factory Maestrani. Shopping here is definitely a must!

13. Lausanne, Montreux and Chillon

Your first stop is Lausanne, the cultural center of Switzerland. It's a beautiful city, surrounded by the Alps, and after an orientation tour you will have free time to take a stroll around the lake, visit the Olympic Museum, or whatever you please.

In the afternoon, you'll take a drive the canton of Vaud and along the lake, passing the famous towns of Vevey and Montreux to reach Chillon Castle, one of Switzerland's most famous monuments.

After your visit and guided tour of Chillon Castle, you'll enjoy a different perspective of the famous castle by boarding a traditional paddle boat for a short cruise on the lake.

Finally, you'll have free time in Montreux to go for a walk around the town's streets, by the lakeside or do some shopping.

On the return drive to Geneva drinks will be offered on the bus.

14. Interlaken - Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland (from Zurich)

A beautiful tour to one of Switzerland's most magnificent Alpine regions!

The guided coach tour takes you on scenic routes to Interlaken at the foot of the snow-covered Alps of the Bernese Oberland. After some time at leisure in Interlaken journey to the well-known holiday resort of Grindelwald, which is nick-named the 'Glacier Village'. You will have enough time to explore this region on your own.

An optional cable car ride (operates only late May - late October) to the sunny terrace of Mt. First at 2168m / 7113 ft is recommended - for a breathtaking panorama of the Bernese Alps. In the late afternoon meet your coach and guide for the return journey to Zurich.

15. Gstaad and Les Diablerets

From the white of the snow slopes to the blue of the lake by passing through green pasturelands: the charming road of the Saanenland region offers you a mosaic of colours in postcard-perfect images.

Glacier 3000:
